Of course it was deliberate. Claxton was standing over him in a taunting manner and Embiid kicked him. Wasn't to the groin though, refs took a look at the replay and only gave a flagrant 1. Don't think the reason for not giving a flagrant 2 ejection was because they didn't think it was deliberate. Just the severity of the blow was deemed not too significant.
Would be surprised if the league decided differently and that it does warrant a suspension.
In reality. One game suspension would be the absolute best thing for the Sixers and Embiid. It would be a blessing in disguise. He was starting to look a little dinged up out there (like every playoffs it seems) They are up 3-0 , it would be the perfect time to give him some extra rest. If he gets suspended it accomplishes that without it looking like fragile Embiid is hurt again and needs extra rest.
